I’m Isabel Lindemann - an osteopathic practitioner, somatic educator, and someone who takes the body seriously as a site of knowledge.

My practice lives at the intersection of structure and intuition. I trained formally at the Canadian School of Osteopathy in Vancouver, and I came to that training through years of work in outdoor leadership, yoga, Healing Touch, and Structural Integration. Each layer added something the last couldn’t explain. I stopped expecting the body to fit neatly inside one framework.

I work with people navigating postural imbalances, musculoskeletal pain, digestive concerns, concussion recovery, scar tissue, and nervous system dysregulation - as well as those harder-to-name experiences of feeling off in your body, unmoored from yourself, or like something just hasn’t settled. My sessions are slow, attuned, and trauma-informed. I blend hands-on osteopathic technique with somatic awareness and intuitive listening. No big cracks. Just contact, presence, and meaningful change.

I also work with practitioners - teaching courses on subtle sensory perception and the Clairs as they apply to bodywork and healing. I believe that clinical skill and embodied knowing belong together, and that the best healers are also committed students of their own experience.

I live in the forests of Port Alberni, B.C. - on the unceded traditional territories of the Nuu-chah-nulth peoples - with my husband, our dogs, and a lot of questions I’m still sitting with. I’m a settler here. That shapes how I move through this work and this land.

I don’t believe healing is linear, or that anyone needs fixing. I believe bodies hold enormous intelligence, and that our job - mine and yours - is to listen.
