Osteopathy is a safe and effective patient centred manual therapy which works in combination with the individuals own homeostatic mechanisms to help restore balance and optimal health. It works with the understanding that the way the body is able to function is inseparable from the way it is structured.

All aspects of the body must work together to maintain health and the osteopathic approach is able to address the person as a whole to improve not only structure and therefore function but overall health and wellbeing.

Osteopathic Practitioners support the body’s ability to restore and maintain health by using skilled palpation and manual techniques to influence muscles, joints, nerves, connective tissue, circulation and internal organs.

Remote NS regulation

Remote nervous system regulation refers to techniques or interventions delivered via digital or phone (Zoom audio or video) aimed at helping you manage and balance your nervous system's activity from a distance in order to activate the innate healing mechanisms of the body.

Osteopathic Manual Practitioner · Somatic Educator · Intuitive Facilitator

I’m Isabel Lindemann—an Osteopathic practitioner rooted in anatomy and structure, guided by intuition, and deeply connected to the natural world. I live in the forests of Port Alberni, B.C., where my life and work are shaped by reverence for the body’s quiet intelligence.

I live and work as an uninvited settler on the traditional territories of the Nuu-chah-nulth peoples. I hold deep gratitude for this land and for the Indigenous communities who have cared for it all since time immemorial. I continue to learn what it means to live and practice responsibly and respectfully on these lands.

My journey into this work began with outdoor leadership, yoga, Healing Touch, and Structural Integration (Rolfing®). Each experience deepened my awe for the body’s ability to heal. In 2016, I began my formal Osteopathic training at the Canadian School of Osteopathy in Vancouver, graduating in 2022. My learning hasn’t stopped—besides continuing formal education - nature, spirit, and the people I work with continue to be my greatest teachers.

I don’t treat symptoms alone. I support people navigating postural imbalances, musculoskeletal pain, digestive concerns, concussion recovery, scar tissue, nervous system dysregulation, and those harder-to-name ways we feel “off” in our bodies. My sessions are slow, attuned, and trauma-informed—blending hands-on techniques, somatic awareness, and intuitive listening to help you feel safe, seen, and at home in yourself.

I don’t believe healing is linear, or that anyone needs fixing. I invite you to slow down, tune in, and remember the wisdom your body already holds. My work is gentle yet powerful—no big cracks, just meaningful shifts.

Outside the clinic, I live with my husband and our dogs, tend to plants, listen to the forest, and keep asking courageous questions about what it means to be fully, beautifully human.
